Heth Home Happenings

6 Months Old

Hi All, Today Marley is 6 months old! Wow, time is flying. We have alot of new things happening in the last month, including two teeth. Yes, 2! Boy she has been in some pain too. Teething is no fun, for baby or parents. I'm still working on capturing a picture of those cute teeth, but still have been unsuccessful. She also started at a new "school this month and is loving her new caregiver. They go to the park in the mornings, read lots of books, AND take naps! (At her old school naps weren't a regular thing.) Her and Marilyn have become best buds. At those moments when her teething pain is the worst, Marilyn seems to be the only thing that can make her smile. She has been working real hard at crawling. Nothing yet but she has been rocking on her knees alot. She gets upset when she cant do it. She just wants to crawl, walk, talk, etc. so much and gets mad when she can't. She hasn't started sitting up on her one yet, but I have a feeling that is coming soon. We went ahead and lowered her crib. She is a little worm in her bed, as Daddy calls her. She rolls and scoots all over the place. Her favorite things to watch on tv are GOLF and POKER. I'll have cartoons on for her and she will get upset, and then Daddy changes it to golf or poker, and she is all smiles and just sits there quietly and watches. Looks like I will be alone on the weekends when she gets older, and Daddy and Marley are out golfing. Her eating is going great. I'm still making homemade baby food, and she is loving it. She favs are apples, pears, and bananas, though I sneak in some green beans or squash. Today she has her 6 month check up and shots. I'll have to shoot out another email with her weight and height. Take Care,Julie

Welcome Back!

Wow, it has been quite a while since I made a blog entry here. Forgive me for not being a better super mom. If you are totally out of the loop, let me catch you up real quick. Marley Rhyann Heth was born on January 20, 2009. Life with her is AMAZING! Every day is a new adventure. Our lives have been so blessed. Now, back to current day, she will be turning 6 months old on Monday. Wow, 6 months! How time flies. She is a wonderul little eater. She now eats solids, that mommy home-makes, twice a day. She has 2 teeth already! One is pretty much all the way through, and its little friend, is just barely popping through.
This week she started at a new school with Miss Libby. Oh we love Miss Libby. Marley had been going to a daycare center, but we felt that she wasnt getting the attention that a true princess deserves. Marley has been soooo much happier this week. We are so grateful. They go to the park in the mornings, before the heat wave hits, they read books all day long, and play, AND she actually is taking good, quality naps now, compared to at her old school.
Life in a nut shell with Marley is GREAT! Aaron and I couldnt ask for a more wonderful child. I promise, I will attempt to stay up to date on my blogging. Stay tuned for 6 month old pics. In the meantime, here's a few pictures to hold you over.
Take Care!

Welcome Baby Joshua!

My dear friend and pregnant pal, Karen, had her baby today!!! Baby and Mommy are doing great and from what I hear it was a super easy delivery. Im so happy for her. She was due on January 7th. I am heading to the hospital to see them this evening. I'm so excited!

38 Week Check In

Well, here we are at week 38. No baby yet. At this point I am pretty much ready. I have been having stronger braxton hicks contractions this week, but nothing regular and worth timing. I feel I pretty much have everything ready for her arrival. I stocked up on groceries yesterday. All her clothes are washed and ready and she has clean sheets and blankies to come home to. We had a doc appointment this Monday but not much change. Our next appointment is this coming Monday, so hopefully will have some progress by then.

Baby Update

In case you were wondering.... No, no baby arrival yet.

Packed and Ready

36 Week Check In

Well, we got to see our little Christmas angel yesterday. We went in for an ultra sound. Doctor wanted to see about how big Marley was. They estimate she is at 6.25 pounds right now. Not too shabby. She looked so cute! I LOVE her little nose. She was sucking on her whole hand. She must have been hungry. I apologoze for the bad scan quality, but you can sorta get an idea. Her hand is covering her mouth, but you can sorta make out her nose. What an awesome Christmas gift to get to see her before her big arrival.
